Careers Advice

Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School are committed to providing dedicated careers advice, guidance and information to all Sixth Form students.

Students can speak to Ms Butterly, the school's career adviser, by booking appointments. Alternatively the school can source external advisors to deliver bespoke sessions.

Sixth Form students are also informed of many careers opportunities including work experience opportunities via their Google Classrooms where staff regularly post events, opportunities and links.

Please see below an excellent website called 'Prospects' which gives advice and guidance on jobs, work experience, postgraduate study, job profiles, applying to university, and much more.

Another tool you can use to think about jobs in the future is the 'Skillsometer.

Skillsometer can help you discover what jobs you might like to do in the future. You will be presented with a series of statements. Select the emoji that shows how you feel about each statement. You will be given suggestions of jobs linked to what you most enjoy doing.
