Fundraising
As you may be aware, every year we ask our families to consider making a contribution towards our School Fund. Whilst this is of course entirely voluntary, we do encourage families to make this contribution if they feel able to do this, as it makes a huge difference to the school. The additional funds are an extremely valuable - indeed, increasingly vital - source of income, in a time of hugely diminishing school funding. Your contributions really do enable us to enhance our school opportunities and environment. Now, more than ever, we would really appreciate your support.
Our standard suggested donation is £30. However, a number of parents and carers indicated last year that they would prefer to set up a monthly standing order to make a regular contribution to the school fund, rather than a one-off payment. Regular donations make a lasting impact on our School and our students, whether it is £5, £20 or £30. If you would prefer to make a one off donation please contact the Finance Team on 01795 533132.
Contributions are used in a vast variety of ways to support our rich and wide-ranging programme of extracurricular activities and educational visits and to enhance our school environment and experience. We strive to ensure that all students will benefit from the school fund during the course of the year and over the years the fund has been used in a huge range of ways, including the maintenance and running costs of our school minibuses, the funding of house events and celebrations in every year group and the provision of equipment and activities for our student support rooms and outdoor areas.
