University
The journey to university is an exciting, yet complex, process and as parents and carers, your support is invaluable in the process.
We encourage you to start the conversation early with your young person, focusing not just on top-tier universities such as Russell Group, but on finding the right course and environment in any instituion where your child can thrive - a place that stretches their abilities while ensuring their personal well-being.
Attending the Post 18 Options Evening here at Queen Elizabeth's (in Term 4), attending university open days, discussing financial planning and helping students articulate their passions and motivation to study their chosen course in a compelling Personal Statement are vital steps in helping your child in their university journey.
Remember, the role of prent/carer is to be a supportive guide and researcher, empowering your young person to make independent, informed decisions about their next crucial educational step.
