Attending the Post 18 Options Evening here at Queen Elizabeth's (in Term 4), attending university open days, discussing financial planning and helping students articulate their passions and motivation to study their chosen course in a compelling Personal Statement are vital steps in helping your child in their university journey.

Remember, the role of prent/carer is to be a supportive guide and researcher, empowering your young person to make independent, informed decisions about their next crucial educational step.

Year 12

'Settling in and looking ahead' guidance meetings - Terms 1 & 2 - students are encouraged to explore any ideas they have for Higher Education or other post-18 study

Post 18 Options Evening - Term 4 - at least one with a speaker from a university and previous or current students talking about the unviersity process
