"The sixth form is a strength of the school, with outstanding leadership and management. The needs of students are very well met through the broad range of subjects offered, the extensive opportunities to develop personal skills and the close care and support provided. Students talk with passion about the opportunities they have to develop confidence, self-esteem and leadership skills and they feel fully prepared for their next stage. Students appreciate the guidance provided by their mentors. "Ofsted 2015

A message from the Sixth Form Staff;
Welcome to Queen Elizabeth’s Sixth Form. We do hope that you will consider the wide variety of opportunities that our co-educational sixth form has to offer - the academic elements of which can be seen in the Options Guide (2022 version available here).
In January 2019, Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School was rated as the highest performing Grammar School at A Level in the whole of Kent, the highest placed amongst 32 selective schools.
The value added score of 0.26 means that students, on average, achieved one quarter of a grade higher than their expected target grades.
2018 was a record breaking year for our A level students with the highest number of successful Oxbridge entries, the highest number of students progressing to Russell Group universities, the highest number of A* and A grades and the largest number of first generation students succeeding in university applications. We are delighted that our students reached such an excellent standard in their academic studies.
As well as their great academic success, we are very proud of the way in which our sixth form students regularly engage in the wide range of extra-curricular activities such as acting as school ambassadors, running charity events, creating the annual school pantomime or the work they do as Senior Students of the school.
We have over 200 students in our sixth form who are well-supported by a very well-qualified and hard-working teaching staff. The excellent pastoral system which exists in the main school continues into the sixth form. Every student is a member of a form group with a form tutor who ensures that each and every student is fully encouraged to achieve his or her full potential.
Our main aim at Queen Elizabeth’s is to produce confident and resilient students who are independent and reliable. We try to ensure that each student achieves their academic potential and has a positive plan for life beyond school.
We believe that Queen Elizabeth’s has a welcoming, tolerant and hard-working ethos and whether you want to further your academic career in order to progress to university level, or you want to find the best alternative route to your future, Queen Elizabeth’s is the place for you!

A welcome message from the Head Student Team here at Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School;
Queen Elizabeth’s from a student’s perspective is a friendly and supportive learning environment. There is always someone to turn to for extra support and all students are happy to help one another. The sixth form only study room is a great place for private study during the day, and the library has everything you may need. At the sixth form you are treated as an adult, preparing you for your next steps after leaving.
