Post-18 Career Decisions 2020

We are sorry that the Post-18 Career Decision meeting was cancelled.

Any information we receive that is relevant to this will be posted on this page as well as on the internal Google Classrooms for the Sixth Form.

This is a slightly more detailed version of the powerpoint about university applications that would have been presented on the evening with the slides in italic being additional information. Click here for the UCAS undergraduate website. Please do not hesitate to email me if you have any questions.

Obviously with the uncertainty of the current situation, deadlines may change and we will keep you up to date as far as we can. You can sign up here for UCAS updates and information.

I also have included the presentation that the University of Kent gave last year.

This is a link to the Russel Group "Informed Choices" website.

We also have a "blog" from a representative of CXK giving you all the information you would have had during the evening, including details of apprenticeships, please click here.

This is a blog about apprenticehips and school leaver schemes.

There is also information here about apprenticeships and other alternatives to university.

We will give an assembly to Year 12 as soon as it is feasible but we encourage students and parents to email any questions to: (UCAS) (apprenticeships)

Virtual tours of universities in USA, Canada and UK are available here.

There is a free live webinar on Wednesday 8th April, where you can ask questions to 6 university representatives. They are hoping to overcome the challenges both Year 12s and 13s are facing, with fairs and open days not running, and changes to grades and 2020 admissions. This webinar will provide the opportunity for you to ask questions and find out the answers you need.

Visit the link ASAP to register, as places are very limited.

A selection of blogs from Unifrogs extensive Know-how library are here. Have a browse.
